Vote count set to begin from Wednesday

KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 20 The Election Commission (EC) stated the vote counting process set to begin from Wednesday. As said by Shambhu Prasad Chalise, Kathmandu District Election Officer, the vote counting in Kathmandu will begin at 8 am.
Earlier, with the preliminary assumption of over 70 % voter turnout throughout the nation, Chief Election Commissioner Nil Kantha Uprety, speaking at a press conference held at the media center of the EC yesterday, the vote count of accessible areas would begin from Tuesday evening. The EC stated that nation is successful to hold the largely peaceful and fair election, marred by sporadic incidents of violence of minor nature in some parts.
