NC, UML clash in Syangja leaves one UML cadre injured

SYANGJA, NOVEMBER 19 - NC and CPN-UML cadres have clashed outside the election center in Janajyoti High School of Kuwakot VDC, Syangja. In the clash, UML activist Harishchandra Pangeni collapsed due to high blood pressure and was taken to the hospital for treatment, the police informed.

Elsewhere in Syangja, the NC cadres have accused CPN-UML of carrying out voting one-sided in Pelakot VDC. NC said that UML candidate Mukti Pathak had a strong hold in the constituency and they barred others from voting.

Meanwhile, in Syangja's Malyangkot VDC, the UML accused the NC cadres of carrying out one-sided voting. The police said that voting continued after a brief argument in both the constituencies.
