Born on May 28, 1958 in Yachhen-5 Bhaktpur, a district committee member of CPN-UML, Ranju (Rejina) Napit plunged into politics in 1994 by becoming an ordinary membership of CPN-UML. After serving Nepal Women’s Association, she became a district chairperson of All Nepal Women’s Association of CPN-ML in 1997, after the UML’s split.

After the merger of CPN-UML and CPN-ML, an intermediate Napit became a secretariat member and a regional committee member of CPN-UML.

Daughter of Kazi Bahadur and Pancha Laxmi Napit, Napit serves as a central founding member of Loktantric Newaa Sangh.
